Your expression of regret that you didn’t get to know yourself sooner touched me, and I suggest that it may be the beautiful refrain of your life because I have this regret every couple of years. Which just has to mean that I'm growing like the salvia and the poppies and the baby hummingbirds. I also love your embrace of and permission to be two people. Why the fuck not? I'm complicated, thank god. And I can never get enough of Ada Limón.
